Continental Dance Club Open House, in Honour of UNESCO International Dance Day

This video represents a collaboration between cameraman Richard Fox  & Brian Torner c/o The Continental Dance Club in Mississauga. The event on which filming took place:  OPEN HOUSE in honour of UNESCO International Dance Day, featuring Ballroom & Latin performances and lessons.

THANK YOU to family parents Ernst & Ursula Torner  & Bianca Torner for their patience  & dance indulgence for over 20 years  managing The Continental Dance Club …   whilst son Brian represented Canada on the world stage THIS VIDEO IS DEDICATED TO MY FAMILY!

THANK YOU students, dancers, teachers of the CDC for their participation in creating a lovely demo/docu reel! $10 entry for all was 100% donated as CDC-bookmarked to The Canadian DanceSport Federation with the aim to give back to the CDC in mentoring form for students & teachers at an as yet undisclosed date but likely a CDC ShowCase/Medal Ball

  • Francis Palomar honoured us with wife Ddi dancing his birthday dance
  • Gordon Fong kept sound up to check as our DJ all night
  • Miroslav Bata Marcetic attended as founders of Serbian Folk Dancing Academy
  • Sharyn & Phil were gracious flower presenters and hosts upon entry to dancehall
  • Toronto favourite dance competition volunteers  & assistants extraordinaire Fanny & Claire greeted all guests upon entering & leaving with BIG SMILES and flair!
  • Magnifiscent dance shows were provided courtesy LOVE TO DANCE
  • Juan & Regina Canadian Pro rhythm champions
  • Carlos n Dora Canadian Exhibtion champions & 2x Blackpool finalists
  • SHARON LEVIT & JOANNE KAY SMITH ProAm Smooth champions elegantly danced THE FINAL WALTZ
