Welcome (back) to The Continental Dance Club!
It has been two years … since we have heard children and young adults sing & dance from The Academy of Serbian Folk Dancing… since regular social dances, group lessons or traditions such as Gordon Fong Fridays has been permitted to gather. since Rhythm and Motion Dance Studio & Elizabeth Sadowska have been able to hold their annual Toronto Tango Marathon & Toronto Tango Festival, since most of our instructors have been able to give private instruction, since their students have been able to practice, since our annual UNESCO International Dance Day, since any groups like Friends of The Continental Dance Club MSO Mississauga Symphony Orchestra have graced our beloved venue for staging rehearsals.
Finally, it’s time to welcome you – audiences new and returning friends, mentors, students!
TODAY, while our venue may be empty, weekly The Continental Dance Club social media Facebook account and website are where our audiences are watching – between 12-15K weekly on average! All instructors, special guest artists and Friends of The Continental Dance Club have editor privileges on the official Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/thecontinentaldanceclub and the main website portal www.thecontinentaldanceclub.com as part of $100 annual fee. The fees for 2020 and 2021 were waived in lieu of COVID. Most of you have been part of the web portal since 2013.
In 2022, The Continental Dance Club will waive the $100 fee for all existing AND any new instructors and groups to lessen the COVID blow. In 2023, all returning and new instructors and groups using The Continental Dance Club as independent agents will be required to pay this fee.
Our venue is available for private and public events and meetings as well for various arts, dance and wellness groups.

IMPORTANT: At this time, before you prepare for returning, kindly ensure you provide proof of insurance per damage/liability and provide proof of dues paid for use of music in the public realm for records of the venue. Email [email protected] said details.
The Continental Dance Club would like to request patrons remove their outdoor shoes at the point of entry (front or back!) and wear proper footwear. NO BLACK LEATHER SOLES!
Starting March 1 The Continental Dance Club will be re-opening its doors to the public.
As a special THANK YOU, the floor fees for instructors, students, groups will be reduced by 50% for a limited time 3 (three months). That is for “members” exclusive venue rental for group instruction, rehearsal, staging from $50/hour REDUCED to $25/hour and for instructors teaching or students practice time from $20/hour REDUCED to $10/hour
The pay-go system requires log in and preparation of envelope with instructor/group name and explanation of fee.
